Paul Storr (1770-1844) was one of England's most celebrated silversmiths. The high quality of his output and his ability to produce sets in large numbers are some of the driving factors in his success. From 1807 to 1819, he was part of the firm Rundell, Bridge, and Rundell, who had obtained the Royal Warrant in 1806. Storr produced much of the silver purchased by King George III and King George IV, and his pieces adorn royal palaces and great homes not only across England, but Europe and the world.
