Sotheby’s London is delighted to present the Modern &amp; Modern British Day Auction, including Property from the Collection of Erich &amp; Senta Goeritz, taking place in March 2026 at our New Bond Street galleries. Bringing together a century of paintings, drawings and sculpture, the sale celebrates the multifaceted spirit of creativity from the late 19th century through to the mid-20th century, spanning Impressionism and the revolutionary avant-garde movements that reshaped modern art. Alongside these international developments, the auction features an outstanding selection of Modern British &amp; Irish Art, with important works by artists active throughout the 20th century, including the St Ives Modernists, Bloomsbury Group, Camden Town Group, Scottish Colourists and Post-War artists, collectively reflecting the bold individuality with which artists challenged convention and redefined the course of art history.
