Van Cleef &amp; Arpels has maintained a legacy of strong design and superior craftsmanship since its founding in 1905. This sale brings together some of the firm’s most celebrated designs from across the decades of the twentieth century, designs that have contributed to the makeup of the maison’s signature style. Highlights include ‘Mystery-set’, ‘Ludo’ and ‘Ballerina’ jewels first designed in the 1930s, ‘Dentelle’ earclips that date from the 1940s, a ‘Zip’ necklace and ‘Snowflake’ earclips first introduced in the 1950s and ‘Chevalerie’, ‘À Cheval’ and ‘Rose de Noël’ designs from the 1960s and ‘70s.
