The year-end auction consists of a staggering 514 lots that includes whisky, brandy, and rhums from around the world. There are various lots that make their debut on Sotheby’s auction, including the incredibly sought-after set of Brora Triptych, the latest release of Yamazaki 25 Year Old Mizunara, and the Johnnie Walker 48 Year Old Masters of Flavor. The Brora Triptych was a monumental release, created in celebration of the re-opening of the Brora Distillery which has been closed for 4 decades. The vintages of the 3 whiskies were selected from legacy casks in 3 of the most important periods of Brora’s short history. With 1972 being Brora’s iconic vintage, 1977 being a period where its whiskies were contributing as peated components for blended whiskies and 1982, the last full year of its operation. These incredibly rare malts were reviewed by some of the most well-known critics around the world, and have scored 96, 92 and 91 points in Whiskyfun. This is the first time the Brora Triptych has been offered by Sothebys.

Other highlights of Scotch and Japanese whiskies includes the Glengoyne 40 Year Old, original case of Balvenie Single Cask, the Yamazaki 25 Year Old Mizunara and the Karuizawa Thousand Arrows Full Set.

Old and rare bourbons are also included in the auction, which includes the Pappy Van Winkle 23 Year old, the 23 Year Old Elijah Craig and Very Very Old Fitzgerald bottles.

The sale is open for bidding from 28 November 2025 11:00 HKT and will start closing on 9 December 2025 11:00 HKT in 30s interval.
