Sotheby’s is honoured to present The Magnificent Cellars of Willy Michiels | A Passion for Collecting | Part III — the London chapter of this exceptional global sale series. Spanning nearly a century, this monumental collection of mature Bordeaux and Burgundy ranks amongst the greatest private cellars ever brought to auction. Day 1 of the London chapter opens with exceptional Burgundy Grands Crus from the legendary Henri Jayer, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Marquis de Laguiche. These are followed by a monumental array of Bordeaux First Growths and their Right Bank equivalents including Petrus and Le Pin. The auction concludes with an impressive anthology of amber nectar from Chateau d’Yquem.
