The sale is held together by a compelling group of benchmark wines from some of Burgundy’s most celebrated domaines, with particular strength among the great vineyards of the Côte de Nuits. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti takes center stage with four highly sought-after Grand Crus: Richebourg 2012, Romanée-Saint-Vivant 2020, Grands Échézeaux 2020 and Corton 2020. Together, they offer a broad look at the domaine’s holdings, spanning some of Burgundy’s most distinguished and collectible vineyard sites.
The Côte de Nuits continues with Domaine Armand Rousseau’s Chambertin 2017 and Mazy-Chambertin 2012, including two expressions from one of Gevrey-Chambertin’s most closely followed estates. Georges Mugneret-Gibourg is represented by Ruchottes-Chambertin 2013 and 2014, while Duroché’s Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaut Saint-Jacques 2018 is offered in magnum. Completing the Burgundy selection is Hubert Lignier’s Clos de la Roche 2010, highlighting the domaine’s holdings in one of Morey-Saint-Denis’s most distinguished Grand Crus.
Beyond Burgundy, two magnums of Edmond Vatan’s Sancerre Clos la Néore 2016 extend the selection into the Loire, bringing one of the region’s most distinctive bottles to the offering. From Piedmont, Gaja’s Sorì Tildìn 1999 adds one of the estate’s iconic single-vineyard wines and a landmark vintage.
The broader sale brings an international selection spanning Champagne, Bordeaux, the Rhône, Piedmont, Tuscany, Spain and California, alongside the Burgundy and Loire selections. Across these regions, the offering brings together a range of established estates, historic appellations and highly regarded vineyards, reflecting the depth and diversity of the auction.
