Sotheby’s is honoured to unveil The Magnificent Cellars of Willy Michiels | Part II: A Passion for Collecting, a monumental collection of mature Bordeaux and Burgundy spanning nearly a century. Presented globally through a landmark series of sales, it stands among the greatest private cellars ever brought to auction, with this chapter now revealed in Hong Kong. Within this historic ensemble, rare back vintages from the legendary Henri Jayer dating to the 1970s are joined by an exceptional private holding of Domaine des Lambrays, together with distinguished First Growths and a remarkable Right Bank selection led by Petrus, Le Pin, La Fleur and Trotanoy. The Magnificent Cellars of Willy Michiels | Part II will open for online bidding on 27 February and culminate in a live auction on 14 March, 10:00 AM HKT, at Sotheby’s Maison Hong Kong.
