Lous and the Yakuza is a singer-songwriter, artist, actress who spent her childhood between Congo, Rwanda and Belgium.&nbsp; Her first studio album GORE produced the international hit Dilemme. Her second album IOTA dropped in late 2022 to resounding critical success. After her sold out European and US tour, Lous is finding inspiration for her next album through her love for art and manga.&nbsp; Lous and the Yakuza is an anagram of the word Soul, the source of her musical inspiration, and Yakuza, the name of her team of collaborators. Her style is a combination of trap, R&amp;B, and pop, carried by her idiosyncratic voice.

The latest addition to the Contemporary Paris sale is a thoughtfully curated section of diverse digital and crypto artists.&nbsp; Included in this section are unique works by ALIENQUEEN, Omentejovem, Strano, 0010, Guido Di Salle, Pascal Boyart, Joanie Lemercier and Eric Lefaure, who find inspiration from contemporary art, popular culture and mass media to create artworks that comment on contemporary society. Additionally, the section includes a work by the leading AI artist, Pindar Van Arman who created a fully on chain AI work based on his bytGANS series. The curation aims to offer a glimpse into the world of digital art and its diverse forms, while also providing a platform for digital artists to be integrated into the traditional art world.

This March, Sotheby’s Paris launches the fifth edition of the highly successful ‘Contemporary Curated’ sale, which will bring together an exciting selection of Post-War and Contemporary artists from the original trailblazers to the emerging artists at the forefront of the contemporary art scene, with the added spice of a curated edit by a taste-making guest-curator from the world of culture. The auction will include works by highly sought-after artists from around the globe as well as French masters. An accompanying exhibition, organised in collaboration with our Curator, will be on view at the galleries of Sotheby’s in Paris in March, giving you a chance to see the works in person.
