A Tale of Two Cellars: Day 1 and 2

A focused offering from The Domaine includes a pristine 3-pack OWC of Romanée-Conti 2014, a 6-pack OWC of La Tâche 2019, and La Tâche 2020. Depth continues with Romanée-Saint-Vivant 2006–2019 and Grands Échézeaux 2006–2018, plus a single bottle of 1999 Vosne-Romanée Duvault-Blochet. The set is rounded out by a 3-pack OWC of Corton-Charlemagne 2019.

The Domaine

Highlights include Arnoux-Lachaux Echézeaux 2006 and 2011 with 2012 Clos de Vougeot, Anne Gros Richebourg 1998–2011, and Duroché selections of Echézeaux, Estournelles-Saint-Jacques, and Lavaut-Saint-Jacques. Further standouts feature de Montille Malconsorts Cuvée Christiane 2012 in magnum and Jacques Prieur Musigny 2009, alongside classics such as Jadot Musigny 1995 and 1999 and Drouhin Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche 2017. Burgundy Classics and Rising Stars

Pristine First Growth verticals anchor this cellar: Lafite 1995–2003, Latour 1982–2003, Mouton 1982–2002, Margaux 1983–2002, and Haut-Brion 1989–2002. Complementing these are La Mission Haut-Brion 1982 &amp; 1989, Montrose 1990, Lynch-Bages 1989, and Pichon Lalande 1982–2005, with a special emphasis on Léoville Las Cases 1961–2005 across formats. From the Right Bank, three magnums of the legendary 1998 Cheval Blanc, a celebrated triple 100-point vintage, provide a fitting capstone.

Pristine Bordeaux

A collector’s dream, Château Mouton Rothschild pairs great Pauillac with commissioned artworks, turning each vintage into a keepsake that marks years and moments. In this sale, offerings span 1970 to 2019, including labels by Marc Chagall (1970), Andy Warhol (1975), John Huston (1982), Bernard Séjourné (1986), Francis Bacon (1990), Anish Kapoor (2009), and Jeff Koons (2010). Separate from the artist series, the iconic 2000 stands apart with its gold-engraved Augsburg ram, one of the estate’s most coveted modern releases.

 Mouton Rothschild

The Harlan family offerings are led by an almost complete vertical of Harlan Estate 2004–2012, in magnum and bottle, all in original wood. Promontory follows in the landmark Napa vintages 2009 and 2013, offered in both formats and in original wood. BOND is showcased with pristine collection cases featuring Vecina, Melbury, Pluribus, St. Eden, and Quella, packed in original wood with magnum and bottle selections from 2003–2012. Further highlights include BOND Matriarch 2002–2010.

Harlan Estate

Burgundy opens with Domaine Leroy, highlighted by two 2006 lots: Vosne-Romanée Aux Genaivrières and Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Boudots. Rousseau follows with the full suite, including Chambertin 2012–2019 and Clos de Bèze 2011–2019. Roumier leads with Musigny 2018 and the scarce Échézeaux, then extensive offerings of Bonnes-Mares, Les Cras and La Bussière. Dujac features Clos de la Roche 2006–2018, Clos Saint-Denis 2007–2020 and Bonnes-Mares 2010–2019, while Romanée-Saint-Vivant appears 2007–2018 with select magnums. Additional highlights include Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier Musigny 1993, Vogüé Musigny 2001–2017, a focused set from Mugneret-Gibourg with Ruchottes-Chambertin, Méo-Camuzet Richebourg 2022 and a vertical of Rouget Cros Parantoux 2009, 2010, 2015 and 2019.
