otheby’s is delighted to launch its 2025 Finest & Rarest Wines online series with an extraordinary auction featuring an Exemplary European Cellar—a collection sure to please all wine lovers. Carefully assembled over the years, the majority of these wines were sourced from reputable UK wine merchants.
This collection brings together an outstanding lineup of DRC offerings, featuring Romanée-Conti and La Tâche, along with a rare DRC assortment from the exceptional 2010, 2009, and 2002 vintages—each renowned for its incredible aging potential and solid market value, all preserved in their original wooden cases.
Also featured is a remarkable selection of DRC Montrachet, spanning multiple vintages—the benchmark white Burgundy for any serious cellar.
Adding to the excitement is the rare 1980s–1990s Henri Jayer Cros Parantoux, a true rarely seen on the market. Other Burgundy highlights include the 1995 Leroy Musigny, a d’Auvenay Auxey-Duresses, as well as sought-after cuvées from Armand Rousseau and the legendary Coche-Dury Perrières from the 1990s, considered the golden era of Jean-François Coche’s winemaking.
Bordeaux enthusiasts can look forward to a remarkable selection of old-vintage First Growths and Right Bank icons, featuring the finest vintages of Pétrus (1990, 2010, 2005), Lafleur 1982, and a pristine collection of Le Pin.
