Also featured is Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, including a unique Richebourg 1947, the extraordinary 1969 Romanée-Conti along with two exceptional bottles of Chambertin 1959 from Domaine Armand Rousseau. These bottles, the property of a wonderful wine and gastronomy enthusiast, were carefully handpicked by Sotheby’s experts after a thorough inspection, ensuring completely assured provenance.

In the realm of fine wine, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is undeniably considered the epitome of distinction and the second collection of the sale, the property of a Great European Dynastic family, will please every collector around the world with a fantastic array of two phenomenal vintages, 1971 and 1976. Purchased directly at the Domaine some 50 years ago, this 16 lots selection includes bottles, magnums, in consecutive numbers, and some in their original wooden cases.

The final part of the sale includes two of the most limited and spectacular bottles of Royal Salute ever produced, released as part of ‘The Art of Wonder’ pinnacle collection. Designed in collaboration with respected British artists and both bottled at over 50 years of age, each takes inspiration from blending to perfectly marry the two worlds of fine art and whisky and is limited to only 21 bottles only. Also featured are rare Cognacs from prestigious houses Remy Martin, Hennessy and Hine. Of particular importance is the Hennessy H8 Cognac, created to honor the 7th generation Master Blender from the Fillioux family handing over the reins to the 8th generation. Limited to just stunning 250 decanters, this blown glass Baccarat crystal decanter, set with eight rings, is unique in that it is engraved specially for Arthur’s Cellar International in Geneva.
