Description
Château Cheval Blanc 1955
St. Emilion, 1er Grand Cru Classé (A)
u. 2ms, heavily bin-soiled labels, 1 torn label, scuffed and slightly wrinkled capsules
A large, 42hl/hectare vintage, all kept in 6-year old barrels. In 2015, there is real similarity with the 1947. It is all leather, spices and raisins and so sweet and succulent on the palate. It just laps over you. A great bottle. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
