Description
Château Cos d'Estournel 1982
St. Estèphe, 2ème Cru Classé
Levels bn or into the neck, 2 slightly bin-soiled labels, 2 nicked labels, 1 torn label, 4 nicked capsules, 1 oxidized capsule, wines come from different importers
In 2021, this has a wonderful, spicy chocolate nose - real 'eastern promise'! On the palate, deep, sweet and supple, with a finish that is pure St.Estèphe married to the inimitable rich, ripe 1982 character that overrides all. The impact of the great class of the property is all apparent and it is still fresh and immediate. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
