Nike Dunk Low Premium SB Jeff Staple ‘Pangeon’ Sample | Size 9

Creative visionary and graphic designer Jeff Staple collaborated with Nike to create a spinoff from the original 2005 ‘Pigeon’ SB Dunk. The Nike Dunk Low Pro SB ‘Panda Pigeon’ is the third release in the ‘Pigeon’ Dunk series and was released in 2019. 

In 2020, Staple posted a photo of the ‘Pangeon’ Sample with the caption that read: 

“Thought I'd share a little backstory on these PANGEONS…"Pigeon Pink" is a trademark color we've employed on all our past footwear designs. But because this Dunk was inspired by the Panda, we thought a "Bamboo Green" might be fitting & refreshing. While my team & I debated on this, @nike was good enough to sample both options for us. Somehow, the sample escaped Beaverton! In the end we went with green and I'm still happy about that decision. (But COTDAMN these pink versions are ). We also wanted to call these the PANGEONS (Panda and Pigeon ) Thought it was all good till Nike legal yanked it. I also called a last minute audible on the outsole.”
