A Kakiemon koro [incense burner]
Edo period, mid - late 17th century
the deep bowl with wide rim, applied rectangular handles and three feet, decorated in iron red, blue, black and green enamels with chrysanthemums, the rim with a band of lappets, the domed cover pierced with an uchiwa, cherry blossom and tama shape and decorated with flowers and foliage, persimmon finial
