Towns' trajectory of success continued as he was named to the league's 2018 All-NBA Team, showcasing his skills with averages of 21.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game, while shooting an impressive 42.1 percent from beyond the arc. This stellar performance earned him a well-deserved spot on the All-Star team for the first time. 

At the time of cataloging, Towns has career averages of 23.1 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game and is the Timberwolves' all-time leading 3-point scorer. Towns is a 5-time NBA All-Star and a 3-time member of the All-NBA 3rd Team.

Towns joined the young, talented New York Knicks in the 2024 offseason. Towns, alongside All-NBA guard Jalen Brunson, helped lead the Knicks to their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance in 25 years.
