The reference 16613 was launched in 1988 as a successor of the 16803. The watch was part of the Rolex production for approximately 20 years, available in two color configurations for the dial and the bezel.

This present piece is known among collectors as a bespoke Submariner model made by Rolex for the Sultanate of Oman as it is inscribed with a beautiful Khanjar emblem to the case back which enhances its exclusivity.
