the paperweight signed Zeng Guofan with two poems :

「心欲小，志欲大，智欲圓，行欲方，能欲多事欲鲜」

「言有教，動有法，晝有為，宵有得，息有養，瞬有存」

W. 8.2 cm, 3 1/4 in. (brushrest); L. 12.4 cm, 4 7/8 in. (paperweight); W. 7.2 cm, 2 7/8 in. (box)
