A pair of doucai 'chrysanthemum' dishes, Marks and period of Yongzheng | 清雍正 鬪彩團菊紋盤一對 《大清雍正年製》款

Outlined in underglaze blue and embellished with green leaves and floral pops of iron-red and yellow enamel, these characterful dishes exemplify the doucai technique of the early Qing dynasty. With double-chrysanthemum roundels separated by stylised lotus scrolls, this delightful pair highlights the refined aesthetic typical of the Yongzheng Emperor’s reign.
