Acquired directly from the Artist by Rosemary Slinn, of whom gifted to the parents of the presence owner, 1962, and thence by descent
In the early 1960’s, there were several of these composite designs that Coper was working on similar to the present lot, most famously the Coventry Cathedral Candlesticks which are various different thrown elements which were then strung onto a central metal pole.
