Comprising: a presentation brooch designed as the crowned cipher of Philippe, Duke of Orléans set throughout with rose diamonds, accented by old cushion-shaped diamonds, suspending a briolette diamond; and a cane handle composed of an engraved rock crystal sphere decorated with fleurs-de-lys accented by rose diamonds.

Philippe, Duke of Orléans (1869-1926), the Orléanist pretender to the French throne, presented this brooch to one of the daughters of Ferdinand I, Tsar of Bulgaria in Sofia in 1906.
