This away ‘Statement Edition’ jersey was worn by Pascal Siakam on June 5, 2025, during Game 1 of the NBA Finals, when the Indiana Pacers played the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Siakam recorded a double-double, finishing with 19 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block. The Pacers beat the Thunder, 111-110.
Siakam was selected with the 27th overall pick in the 1st round of the 2016 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors and quickly became an integral part of the team. His high-energy play and relentless effort on the court earned him the nickname 'Spicy P,' endearing him to fans and teammates alike.
Siakam played a pivotal role in the Raptors’ historic 2018-19 season, helping lead the franchise to its first NBA Championship. His standout performances have earned him multiple accolades, including three All-Star selections, an All-NBA 2nd Team nod in 2020, an All-NBA 3rd Team selection in 2022, and the NBA's Most Improved Player award in 2019.
On January 17, 2024, Siakam was traded to the Indiana Pacers. Teaming up with Tyrese Haliburton, he brought veteran leadership and playoff experience to a young Pacers squad. In 2025, Siakam played a key role in helping lead Indiana to the NBA Finals, marking the franchise’s first Finals appearance in 25 years. His two-way versatility and postseason experience proved instrumental in the Pacers’ deep playoff run and earned him the 2024-25 Eastern Conference Finals MVP Award.
