A manuscript shooting diary, chronicling a journey through Kashmir
"It was noon on the 24th of April 1890, and blazing hot at that, when Ward, Peter & I debauched into Guzerat railway station with all our troubles before us, but full of courage, especially Peter [the dog]." The author of the narrative—seemingly only identified as "D.H.S."—then goes on to relate the various aspect of the journey through Kashmir, to include various angling escapades.
