8vo (9 x 6 in.; 228 x 153 mm). Illustrations from photographs. Blue cloth binding with 666 Catalina Cup device in gilt on upper cover; minimal wear. Half blue morocco gilt slipcase and chemise.
First edition. Presentation copy, inscribed on initial blank, "With best wishes — Thos McD Potter".
This volume comprises articles on fishing, the Tuna Club, and the Southern California Rod and Reel Club, by Thomas McDaniels Potter, a pioneering Catalina angler. They were first published in the Catalina Islander, Judge Ernest Windle, proprietor. Judge Windle wrote the tribute to Potter which appears on pp. 7–10. Rare.
