Nike Dunk High Premium ID ‘Mr. T’ Sample | Size 8

In 2008, Nike partnered with House of Hoops to release an exceptionally rare Nike Dunk High inspired by the actor, Mr. T. Similar to previous House of Hoops releases, this pair was produced in extremely limited quantities. 

This particular design stands out for its distinctive colorway, along with the “T” and feather engraved into the heel panel. The upper is built in Olive suede, with Olive leather overlays. The toe box, Swoosh, and outsole are in black, and contrasting, red detailing can be found on the laces and sockliner. The design is finished with Bronze accents. 

Originally released in 1985, Nike introduced the Nike Dunk as the premiere basketball sneaker in college basketball. The colorways for the series were based on successful programs around the nation. Kentucky, Michigan, UNLV, Syracuse, St. John’s, Villanova, and Iowa all received their own signature shoe. The 1985 Nike ads featured the sneakers with a tagline ‘Be True to Your School’ giving fans an opportunity to support their team from head to toe.
