In 2017, Adidas, Chanel, and Pharrell Williams collaborated to create one of the most sought-after adidas sneakers in existence.  Introducing sneakers as a component of the high fashion and couture world, the adidas Human Race NMD Pharrell x Chanel was limited to just 500 pairs. 

Dressed in a predominantly black Primeknit upper, the pair’s design was contrasted by a white embroidery of "CHANEL" and "PHARRELL”.

Exceptionally rare, the pair offered in this lot was rumored to have been created exclusively for Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld. Reminiscent of the Chanel x Pharrell release, this pair features ‘KARL’ embroidery in place of the CHANEL branding found on the wider release.
