In the summer 1927, Poul Henningsen and Louis Poulsen launched a special edition of the “PH” lamp with three shades that can be extended into a full-scale floor lamp. In the sales catalog, the variant was loosely described as “a PH lamp with lengthened pipes, which can be adjusted to different heights.” It was made available with either opal glass or matte gold shades in the 5/3 configuration and, for the latter only, the 6/3 size.  The “Standard” lamp was available with either opal glass or matt gold shades in the 5/3 size.
