This wine has evolved slowly and it now looks as if it still has some way to go, given its concentration, dose of new wood and dense texture. The smoky black fruit is very tightly-knit, displaying flavours of Burgundian undergrowth as well as a certain reined-in reserve which breaks down as the dinner party progresses, reflecting the mood of the guests!
