New York, Allan Stone Projects, Kazuko Inoue: Thirty Years Of Painting, September – October 2015, no. 2, illustrated
Japanese born, Kazuko Inoue moved to the United States in the 1960s. Combining a Minimalist grid structure with early abstraction’s focus on spirituality, Inoue creates canvases that are lyrical, austere, subtle, and compelling. Inoue exhibited exclusively with Allan Stone starting in the early 1980s and her work is included in public and corporate collections such as the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, the Newark Museum, the Mobil Oil Corporation and Bank of America.
