Of course, now, it has volatile acidity, in its seventies, but there are also notes of clean laundry on the nose which develops and opens out in the glass in a fascinating way. Lots of cocoa on the palate, not as thick and glorious as the 1947, but with Petrus complexity. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
