The French sculptor Albert-Lefeuvre (1845-1924) trained under Auguste Dumont and Alexandre Falguière at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. This model of two medieval founders holding a bell was exhibited at the Paris Exposition Universelle in 1900.
