There is a blank area at the top of this window card, which would have been used by the cinemas to insert screening information. This size poster was printed on heavier paper stock and distributed unfolded. However, many over time got folded. This particular piece is in its original unfolded state.
This is the fourth and final time that James Stewart would work with Alfred Hitchcock, in one of his best loved thrillers. The mood of the film was greatly enhanced by the score, which was written by Bernard Herrmann.
