Reference 5013 was launched in 1992 and remained in production until 2011. It reigned as the brand's most complicated wristwatch produced in series until 1994 when the reference 5016 took the stage. The timepiece marked a significant milestone as it was the first wristwatch to combine a self-winding movement with a minute repeater, retrograde date and perpetual calendar. Depending on the month and leap year cycle, the date hand automatically jumps back to the first of the month after the 28th, 29th, 30th, or 31st. The watch was initially available in a yellow, pink, white gold, or platinum case, however, it was not until 2006 that the option of a black dial was introduced. Despite its long production period, it is believed that only 101 pieces were ever produced, with 45 of them cased in platinum.

Presented in its original factory seal, this highly sought after reference could very well be the top piece in any serious collection, for its extremely small production quantity and its unused condition.
