Launched in 2004, the Saxonia Double Split was the world's first rattrapante chronograph housing a second minute counter on top of the traditional split seconds. With its impressive 43 mm platinum case and powered by the extraordinary calibre L001.1, the watch really can be seen as yet another tour de force of A. Lange & Söhne. The dial layout draws inspiration from the Datograph and features a power reserve indication in the place of the oversized date window. With many additional details such as the golden colour of the second rattrapante hand, the watch is a true celebration of German horology and will become one of the most cherished pieces in any collection.
