Only a few manufactures have skeletonized pieces in their catalogue. They are usually considered as a more confidential production. The vast majority of these models are part of the men’s selection. Gérald Genta saw the artistic potential of a skeletonized movement. For him, it was a color of his palette that he would use to create the most attractive composition. For this reason, he was one of the very few to use this complication in lady’s pieces. In this design, Genta imagined a highly decorated piece requiring the highest degree of skill to create the movement and the case. He did not sacrifice the legibility of the watch as he used contrasting hands and blue sapphires as divisions on the diamond-set bezel.
