References 116520 produced between 2000 and 2002 were subjected to a rare color change dial. Over time, the dial of the watch would turn from white to an off-white, creamy color, producing an exceptional phenomenon. Under sudden temperature changes, a thin layer of condensation could form on the surface of the dial. When this layer is exposed to UV radiations such as sunlight for long periods of time, the dial could be oxidized, causing a color change. This is a rare event and has only been seen on few 116520 models.
