well potted with deep rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to a flared rim, the exterior finely incised and enamelled in bright green against a yellow ground with a continuous scene of eight boys dancing and playing percussion instruments within a balustraded garden beneath pine trees and clouds, all between a border of halved florets and stylised leaf motifs at the rim and lotus lappets at the foot, the base left white and inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within a double-circle, Japanese wood box
