delicately potted with deep rounded sides rising from a straight foot to a gently flared rim, the exterior decorated with five finely painted medallions, each featuring a phoenix with its head and wavy tail poised in opposite directions, wings outstretched in flight and legs thinly pencilled, the interior centred with a matching medallion, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double circle in underglaze blue, wood stand
