A. Lange & Söhne made waves in 2019 with the debut of their first ever sports watch, the Odysseus. This groundbreaking model marked a bold departure for the manufacture, introducing stainless steel and an integrated bracelet — a material and design combination that surprised both loyal collectors and industry observers alike. Building on that milestone, the brand unveiled a limited edition titanium version in 2022, making it the first time titanium had ever been used as a case metal by A. Lange & Söhne.
Compared to the original steel edition, the Odysseus Titanium brings a new tactile dimension, particularly on the hour chapter ring. Whereas the steel model featured a classic concentric pattern, this limited edition showcases an elegant wave texture. The central portion of the dial maintains the same finely grained surface and multi-layer construction as its predecessor. The other notable evolution is the dial color — an “ice-blue” hue, a soft, desaturated grey-blue that harmonizes beautifully with the cool tone of titanium. The result is a more refined, cohesive, and understated aesthetic.
The A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus Titanium Limited Edition (ref. 363.117) was limited to only 250 examples and available exclusively through the brand’s boutiques. Exceptionally sought after, we are thrilled to present the very first example to be sold in auction, in excellent condition and with all its accessories.
