As the 2024-2025 NBA season approaches, Ron Holland is emerging as one of the most exciting prospects from the draft. The 6'8" forward, with a 6'11" wingspan, was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the 5th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, following a standout stint with the G League Ignite.
Despite suffering an injury midway through the 2023-2024 season, Holland showcased his undeniable NBA-caliber talent. He led the Ignite in both scoring and steals, averaging 19.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.4 steals per game.
His impressive form continued in the Summer League, where he led the Pistons' roster in scoring. Over four games, Holland posted averages of 18.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists.
