This ‘All-Star Edition’ shooting shirt was issued to Goran Dragic on February 17, 2018, for the All-Star Game warmups, however, due to the provenance we believe it is likely worn.
Goran Dragić was drafted with the 15th pick in the 2nd round of the 2008 NBA Draft. After being drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in 2008, he was quickly traded to the Phoenix Suns. His breakout season came in 2014 when he won the NBA's Most Improved Player award while leading the Suns to a near-playoff appearance.
Dragić's versatility and leadership continued to shine throughout his career with teams like the Miami Heat, where he played a pivotal role in their run to the 2020 NBA Finals. Dragić also represented Slovenia in international competitions, winning a EuroBasket gold medal in 2017. Over the years, he earned a reputation as a skilled and durable player, adapting his game to various systems and roles, including stints with the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets before retiring.
