Being the first automatic Daytona to include an entirely inhouse movement, the reference 16520 was a great success and had a production period of approximately 13 years. With many different variations of the dial available on the market today, the present watch has a MK5 dial that can be identified from it not having an inverted “6” for it’s 12 hour register as well as rounded numbers and fat markers. Gaining immense popularity in recent years, the 16520 marks a very important chapter in the development of the modern-day Daytona.
