The Atmos du Millénaire were made in a number of editions, each of these editions were decorated differently with varying marquetry designs. The clocks were manufactured in 1999 and sold to celebrate the 3rd Millennium. The clock has an ingenious 1000 year calendar that is prominently displayed on the dial and in addition to this highly complicated mechanism, the hidden drawer at the bottom of the case has a compartment that can fit 10 lacquered engraved gilt tubes, each containing a parchment.
