Vintage NASA “Red Number” chromogenic color photograph, 10 by 8 inches, “This Paper Manufactured by Kodak” watermark to verso. NASA image ID “NASA S-73-38629” printed in upper left margin in red; minor toning, tape to verso.
A striking image, captured from a distance, of the Skylab 4/Saturn 1B space vehicle, as it was launched from Pad B, Launch Complex 39, at Kennedy Space Center, at 9:01:23 a.m. (EST), on 16 November 1973. Skylab 4 represents the third and last of the three scheduled manned Skylab missions.
