Apollo 11 LM Eagle's ascent stage, with Armstrong and Aldrin aboard, is photographed from CM Columbia during rendezvous in lunar orbit. The large, dark-colored area in the background is Smyth's Sea, and this view looks west, as Earth rises above the lunar horizon.
