modelled by Konrad Gottlieb Lück, with a nursing baby on her lap, a sleeping child in a chair to one side, a brazier of warming porridge at his feet, and a boy playing a pipe standing beside her, on a scroll-moulded grassy base, crowned CT monogram mark in underglaze-blue

This model was first created by Lück around 1765-66 and is derived from an engraving La mère de familie or Die gute Mutter by Laurent Cars, after the painting by Jean-Baptiste Greuze.
