Tortoiseshell, turquoise and diamond brooch, Cartier, 1950s

Design as a Blackamoor, the head composed of carved tortoiseshell, embellished with cabochon turquoise and brilliant-cut diamonds, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay mark for gold and maker's mark, case stamped Cartier.
