‘I Was Born To Love You’ video dancer outfit, 1985
A Diana Moseley designed, red plastic vacu-formed heart-shaped female breastplate with black elasticated ties attached at sides; with a corresponding red Etruscan-style helmet with red nylon brulon pony tail attached at the back, worn by ‘Freddie’s Army’ of marching women in the ‘I Was Born To Love You’ video; also with a ‘battery’ hat in the form of an aluminium tube with a mock gauge at one end and mesh at the other, the interior with grey plastic head fitting – 34 cm. long / 32 cm. diam. – unidentified costume, possibly made for but not seen in a video

Diana Moseley had 500 breast plates and helmets made for the female ‘army’ of dancers who rehearsed the marching routine choreographed by Arlene Philips on the quayside at Canary Wharf.
