Cabernet Sauvignon 74%, Merlot 21%, Petit Verdot 4%, Cabernet Franc 1%. 23% of the harvest - today they produce half as much Pavillon as they did ten years ago. Extremely scented, fresh, bouncy, voluptuous nose. Very berryish, with bilberries and blueberries. Very mouth-coating, brambly, sweet and soft. Exquisitely long and charming, with great purity and silkiness, plus cigary notes at the end. A candidate for best ever Pavillon. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
