Starting with Roumier and finishing with Vega Sicilia, travelling through the brilliant vineyards of Europe, this private collection with a specific interest in Burgundy, was amassed over 6 decades by a passionate collector with an enormous appreciation of the world’s very best wines far ahead of its time in its discerning taste. There is a distinct focus on the 1980’s with a plethora of Burgundy with a wonderful array of illustrious Domaine from Georges Roumier, Georges Mugneret, Michel Niellon, Comtes Lafon, Hubert de Montille and rarely seen – but a kept secret – Michel Gaunoux. The vast majority of these brilliant wines were purchased directly decades ago at the properties and were safely stored in an immaculate, air-conditioned cellar
